Provably Fair

Using a state-of-the-art random seed algorithm , The New York Time's front page headline on May 1st 2018, and an entrant flat file, anyone can audit the raffle's outcome for fairness.

Utilizing the Node.JS Random-seed Module (version 0.3.0) the code for determining the winner will be made public along with an up-to-date, git-tracked flat file with entrants usernames in chronological order.

An MD5 hash of The New York Time's front-page headline will be used in conjunction with an array of entrants copied from the entrants flat-file. The code shown in the image will produce an array-index that determines the winner.

Raffle tickets cannot be purchased after April 30th, 11:59PM PST.
